CURRENT
Broken Creek: My current revisionist folk project with guitarist/banjoist Lachlan Heycox. We create intricate folk arrangements for banjo, guitar, violin and voice. We want to recontextualise songs, stories and musical traditions from the past to revive them for our present moment.
Soothplayers (Musician) – I improvise live soundtracks for Completely Improvised Shakespeare as part of this incredible Melbourne theatre that produces improvised stories.
Shantily Clad: Melbourne based sea shanty group

Rare Child: is where all my Melbourne musical adventures started, firstly as a five piece. We have played at the Newport Folk Festival, Bennet’s Lane, The Espy. We have also collaborated with the Nathalia Community Choir for Americana and Celtic nights, created a beautiful musical video directed by Jacinta Scadden and released our debut EP Big Smoke which you can listen to on Spotify or Apple Music, or purchase on BandCamp. A series of House Concerts is currently available to watch on our YouTube channel.
PAST

Eyal and the Skeleton Crew: a six piece, wheezing, crashing musical dynamo drawing influences from jazz, folk, gospel and klezmer music.
I recorded ‘Of Beggars and Thieves’ with them which you can listen to on Spotify.
String Theory Duo: Wanting to do something a bit more classical suitable for functions outside of the pub scene, I teamed up with a dynamic classical guitar friend Alex Svoboda to explore contemporary classical, Brazilian and baroque violin/guitar duets. We performed at the G.R.A.I.N store.
New Music: I love the opportunity to play the works of Australian composers and have often played in various ensembles for the Composition Concert series at the University of Melbourne.
